cause no one's reading my depressed thread:
hehehe

i gave her the cd... she was really excited about it, and i

told her about how she's never home, and she told me that if

one of her family members picked up, to ask "are you sure?"

if they say she's not home. she seemed really intent on
making sure i got a hold of her. today definately boosted my

confidence, i'm going to change my avatar when i get home

hurrah! :D

guy rocks! It makes me laugh out loud! "do you believe in
god then ted?

Well i have to say i've only been able to listen to it one
time :-o

So yeah, these are definitely first impressions ;-)

I heard some really great tunes, and also some that went by
sort of unnoticed. Not ugly, but they didn't "touch" me yet
(i'd say about 50% beautiful, 50% unnoticed).

But it'll surely need more time to fully grow on me.

What i didn't really like were the spoken bits in it....
sometimes i heard a nice tune, but then some guy started
talking over it... and that sort of ruined it for me. Í
wonder if that'll grow on me too? hm... we'll see.

I wish i could remember some songtitles that i liked in
particular... hm... but i don't remember, really ;-) I think
the first "real" song (after some sort of an intro) was
pretty good.

The tracklisting is also very confusing... because of all
those transmissions :-/ A track listed as #10 is like #12 in
reality... very weird.

hm... i think i'm gonna listen to it again later tonight :-)

quoth: school, we had a class together (journal writing,
lots of room to get comfortable with someone)

i'd say that building steam on a grain of salt is the best
song on thealbum... but thats just me, fellas

we were talking in p.e., and she's going to rocky horror
picture show this saturday, and then i found out from my
friends the next period that i'm going to, so i'm going to
ask her if she would be my date or something...

and i'm going to ask her about seeing my friends movies he
made after school on friday (nothing special, but i would
like it if she was there)

"be sure to start a topic once you've heard enough to

"

will do :-)

"building steam on a grain of salt is the best song on
thealbum
"

I know that's just you roybivcore, but i don't agree ;-) I'm
listening to the album right now, and already i prefer both
The Number Song and Stem/Long Stem over building steam :-p
(altough i like that one aswell).

Hey loved The Number Song when I first got the album more
than the other tracks... I was replaying Doom at the time
and it fit really well.

Now however, What Does Your Soul Like Part One (track 15) is
not only my favourite of the album, but among my top 5
favourites of all time, it's just so fucking laid-back
(gotta swear about it) and beautiful, excellent vocal
samples, and plus it's a song me and my girlfriend 'share'
don't know how to explain but you know...

hehe, yeah... i can see how numbersong/doom would be a good
combination!

I really like that song... alot. "midnight in a perfect
world" is very nice too, very emotional.

Right now i'm at napalm brain, so you're favourite track is
coming up :-D I'm curious to hear it.

Emotioneric is very cool... but dougal is cooler :-p

"I really like that song... alot."

it's so dark and agressive! It reminds me of one of the
tracks on tricky's maxinquaye... which has a same sort of
atmosphere. Can't remember the title... hm...
