I was shocked when I heard the news today about Phil
Spector being accused of murdering some 40-year old woman.
I'm sure it's not true and I'm glad to hear that he's
enlisted Johnny Cochrane to help defend him. He helped to
keep OJ Simpson out of jail even despite the racist police
planting evidence on him and I hope he does the same for
Phil as well. It would be a sad loss to have the best
producer in the world behind bars.

phil spector used to pull guns on the artists he was
producing, demanding excellence.

I always mix up cochrane and shapiro. Two of the great
defence attorneys. Anyway, it was just for show when Phil
pulled out his gun in the studio - he never actually shot
anyone then and i don't think he's shot anyone now.

Sometimes it takes unusual measures to secure a great
performance. Anyone who saw Martin Bashir's programme on
Michael Jackson would attest to this.

Well Bill, if you'd seen Bashir's revealing series of

the Jackson lads with belts and other implements to secure a

phil was a producer yes?

producers shape the sound of the performers, and in many
cases, can help motivate them to perform

he doesn't make the music, he helps the music makers

therefore holding a gun to an artitst as an incentive to
work harder would work

whether it's right is another story

I'm asking you which artist he pulled a gun on.. you
shouldnt have to decode that.

the beatles are releasing a "de-spectorized" version of "Let
It Be" in a few months. apparently the album was initially
scrapped, and all there was to work with were only a few
fragmented pieces of certain songs which specter put
together. he also provided the overwrought string
arrangements to certain tracks (most notably the long and
winding road).. this reissuing has nothing to do with this
recent controversy though.

He allegedly threatened Stevie Wonder, Ramone bassist Dee

about this 'gangster garage rap'. Spector had obviously been
listening to this nihilistic rubbish and got busy with a

Kim Howells is just expressing a concern that I think the
majority of the British public have. All this glorification
of violence is having a terrible effect on the youth of
today. Not a day goes by in my town without hearing of
another young brother being shot. It must stop. For the good
of the nation. Why has Craig David gone from hero to zero?
If he carried a gun I bet he'd still be in the charts. We
live in hard cynical times where everything is measured by
your material wealth. So Solid Crew and the rest of these
hoodlums should be ashamed of themselves on have those pour
dead souls blood on their hands.

I agree. Various wooly liberals are decrying Howells'
comments in a knee-jerk reaction. What they forget is that
blacks are more easily open to suggestion. If they are
listening to M.W.A 24/7, its going to have an affect. One
too many listens to 'Straight Out of Crompton' and young
blacks can get psychotic.

I know it's over
and it never really began
but in my heart it was so real
and you even spoke to me and said:

"If you're so funny
then why are you on your own tonight?
and if you're so clever
then why are you on your own tonight?
if you're so very entertaining
then why are you on your own tonight?
if you're so very good looking
why do you sleep alone tonight?
I know because tonight is just like any other night
that's why you're on your own tonight
with your triumphs and your charms
while they are in each other's arms"

I'm sorry I'm not this month's thing. Like, I'm so
yesterday's news as you put it with your feeble grasp of
trailer park trash english. With the sort of mentality
that's constantly fixated with what's now and with it. Oh,

I'm guessing twat is somewhere outside the boundaries of
'trailer-park trash english' right?.. it's more like.. umm..
eurotrash english, thus making it more sophistocated,
according to typical overzealous american anglophilic logic.
something u probably fall prey to. anyway, I wouldn't know
if u were ever even yesterday's news. u've never been of any
importance to me.. or anyone for that matter. I just
recently took notice of your name because you continuously
pose speaking like an over-xanexed mental patient as
non-stop-laughs comedy. that, and then you chose to take a
shot in the dark by hurling an attempt at an insult in my
direction. nononono.. don't do that. you're way out of your
depth trying to test me. you're a fucking child.

but at least you can learn from this.. you've discovered
what u were doign before wasn't funny, but then your
fumbling all over being intelligent and injecting nonsense,
neither-here-nor-there quotes from god knows what proved to
be even funnier. but don't worry, even though we're now
laughing AT you, doesn't mean that on some level we're not
still laughing WITH you, do you know what I meeeaannn??
totally.

and yes, I'm now. I'm then, I'm tomorrow, I'm 2004, I'm
1996, and you're never and to conclude, in the spirit of
utterly pointless and off-topic quoting, I bring you the man
who IS the future, mr. 50 cent: 50, go right ahead:

"You can find me in the club, bottle full of bub. Look, mami
I got the X if you're into takin' drugs. I'm into havin'
sex, I ain't into makin' love, so come give me a hug if you
feel like gettin' rubbed. In the street niggas' sayin' 'man,
50 you hot!', they love me, but I want 'em to love me like
they love 'Pac. Now shawty said' she feelin' my style,
feelin' my flow, her girlfriend's with it and she ready to
go. They holla in New York like '50 you loco,' but my goal
is to put the rap game in a chokehold..."

(Repeat Chorus x2)
(2nd Verse)
(Bridge)
(Chorus)
(3rd Verse)
(Chorus to fade out)

And judging by your "i'm now, I'm tomorrow..."

ur like a guppie going for the bait by quoting a joke
mocking something YOU said; if you couldn't detect the fact
that 90% of that post was 'tongue-in-cheek' then there's no
point in continuing this.. you see, captain, in the big

'kitchy' if you will. it's an example of one of those "joke"
things we have on this planet, that is also a term some
people might use to describe yourself, so u shoudl probably
get used to it)

let's continue the quote-injected post pastiche:

"the rest of what [you] said, I just couldnt figure it out.

"a wise man told me don't argue with fools, cause people

first of all that quote is fallible bullshit and therefore
n/a. good attempt though, you're a regular nietzsche.
really.

it should be noted that the hicks_vessel has made quite a
bit of noise from which very little substance can be
extracted, and the noise it made in the last post focused on
the absence of the letter s, and the fact that baseball
wherever the fuck you live is called rounders and is played
by girls.... aaaand? so what? how is that a diss/valid
rebuttal? it's not.. guess what, rounders is called baseball
over here and it's played by men.. now what? back to square
one

and since you want to bring it to a low, knit-picking
level,

"defence" = it's spelt defense.

"So Solid Crew and the rest of these
hoodlums should be ashamed of themselves on have those pour

dead souls blood on their hands."

"...should be ashamed of themselves FOR havING those poOr
