not that weird...
The first one reminded me of GYBE! and Sonic Youth and other such experimental rockbands. (only not as good, sorry).
But the 2nd track i love! Many interesting ideas and many nice contrasts. Those simple drums sound a bit nin-ish (for instance "last" from the broken ep), but your track is alot more experimental and interesting.
More people should experiment like this... not saying these tracks are brilliant quite yet, but you're definitely on to something! :-)

"Sauvons ce qu'il nous reste encore" was excellent. sure, parts of it reminded me of GYBE!, throbbing gristle, NIN, and kid606, but the fact that a track can seemlessly combine all those influences AND a ton of new ideas is way cool. i'm gonna play this on my radio show. good job darius.

i think next weekend i'm going to lock myself in my room with all my equipment and some alcohol or something else that will hinder my judgement, and record an album. i was thinking of actually calling it mix tape... 90 minutes worth of music...
