I'm going to get one of those when I get back to te UK. My
7650 has broken while on holiday and I've had to get myself
an intermediate phone (Nokia 3615) which is crap. The P900
does look marvellous and there's some marvellous
applications for it. The storage space is also good as you
can keep upgrading it unlike the sodding 7650 which has 4
meg and that's it. 7650 started off good but it just ended
up too limited for me.

P900 = YES!

www.bigjobswap.com go there on your mobile and there's links
to a couple of good poly ringtone sites. I'd give you an
address but my phone with the bookmarks on is fucked >:(

>giginger

yeah, its the fucking bomb that phone is!
i want it because it can play AAC files and shit :)

>pantalaimon

they sound ok......but to be honest, i think polyphonic
tones sound shit anyways - i have WAV samples as my
ringtones - fuck having shitty MIDI ringtones when you can
have the real thing!

BAM! precisely.

I'll be using WAV for ringtones when I get the P900. That's
for sure. Poly can sound good though. Just need a well done
MIDI file. I had WAV for my message alerts though. BAM! was
my favourite one.

and I have New Order "Confusion" Pump Panel Mix as my
message tone

I used to have that Pump Panel one too. As a ringtone
though. It looped so well. I want Gantz Graf as ringtone.

it depends one what your phone will support

any of the Nokias with the Symbian OS will support
WAV's.....not sure about other phones though

you'd have to check your manual to see if it will play WAV's

yeah it does loop really well

Gantz Graf would be difficult on a phone because the
speakers wouldn't handle the frequencies!

would be cool to hear going off on someones phone though

Sounds alright through here but what it'll sound like
through your phone is a whole different matter. Never pay
for a ringtone though.

how do you get like aphex songs as your ringtones? I've got
a new Motorola T730 and I can download lots of ringtones
apps but I have to pay to use them all, and I don't want to
pay for a service before I can even make test it to make
sure it isn't all mainstream music, you know? did you find
avril 14th with some program or somehow upload it into your
phone? I just found in the advanced info on my phone that it
says 'mp3 ready' so maybe I'm not S.O.L. yet.
