How a ruling in a case 30 years old can now be reversed is
beyond me. Then again considering the Fourth Reich America
has become, (I don't think there's a single democrat in all
of washington anymore) there doesnt seem to be a time more
fitting.

I really can't believe how far to the right we've moved.
Even so, this almost seems like an extreme. The fact that a
small group of corporate-friendly, old, ultra-conservative
white men will soon be able to tell women across the nation
their own bodies are not theirs to control (not that this is
anything new), simply because a few characters in an archaic
fairy-tale-turned-religious-beaurocracy said so.

To get some perspective on who many in washington are now
alligning themselves with (including King George II, who
phoned in his support at a pro-life rally) guess who said
the following quote: "I want to end the idea that a woman is
free to choose what to do with her own body." I'll give you
a hint: HITLER. there you go, we are well on our way arent
we.
but let's forget about that,.. and the economic tailspin,
and bush's corporate felon friends.. and let's focus on our
favorite "threat" of yesteryear, mr. hussein. also,
nevermind the fact that the fbi and the cia knew all about
9/11 before it happened, and that bin laden is still alive,
and that the taliban has regrouped.. yeah! fuck all that!
hussein KILLED HIS OWN PEOPLE (umm.. in the mid-80's) ..
kinda like a certain governor of texas that exercised the
death penalty more times than anyone in the state/nation's
history..

anyway.. back to the original rant, the united states may
make abortion's legality a state-by-state basis kind of
thing. i.e. it might become illegal in many bible-belt
states, while it will remain legal in others..

I personally believe women should be able to have an
abortion all the way through the end of the third trimester,
while many are lobbying to get it limited to just the
first.

anyone who considers themselves to be "pro-life" (how's THAT
for a euphemism?)

anyone who considers themselves to be "pro-life" (how's THAT
for a euphemism?) needs to check themselves: how "pro-" are
you the lives of those born from rape and other unwanted
pregnancies??

I want to get your opinions on this topic and what might
happen with the ruling in this monumental/controversial
case.
peace

Pro Life is shit.
They should have the choice.

Hussein should be attacked before he develops nukes. There
is no telling what he would do wit hthem
North Korea needs to be coerced to put their nukes the fuck
away and stop selling them out.
The Gov't did not have previous knowledge of 9/11, why don't
you give me proof otherwise.

That is all, in summary.

it's quite a sad state of affairs indeed..the deliberate
erosion of human rightscurrently underway in the States is
so sad and yet humurous on an ironic level as the US and UK
keep going on about human rights violations in opressed
devestated warn torn countries who have have gone through
decades ofcivil wars and blood sheds and are understandably
shaky about relenting some of the human rights to the
masses..and here..now in the US..once tragic event and the
police state being invoked is equal if not worse then any of
the Eastern Bloc countries in the days of the Iron Curtain..

you don't remember the little feud the fbi and cia had
recently? they are two of the most powerful intelligence
agencies in the country and they were keeping information
from each other like little kids.. like this was a
competition.. rather than working toward a cause...

the report of the possibility of a hijacking/attack on
america was sent to the white house 3 days after everything
went down... on the 11th bush was at his texas ranch.. the
man has been president for almost 3 years now and he's been
in washington for like 15 minutes combined

hussein is an aging dictator without any ambitions of
conquering the US, (who could!?) he's not a threat, but
american propaganda is turning has turned him into one for
the second time

very true flea..

Not a threat? If he has no ambitions why is he working on
building nukes (Don't deny it, you know it's obvious).

having a 'just-in-case' arsenal is almost a requisite for
being a strong nation/government.. honestly,, do you think
fucking north korea's gonna do anything? please.. if given
the opportunity pretty much any nation's military would take
nuclear weaponry.. almost just to say "what, you don't want
to try me.. look what I have".. it decreases perceived
vulnerability
