Why cant life be a musical??

Sometimes I think about this:
Imagine me sitting at work behind my desk doing my Job (I'm
a database admin, so most of the time I'm surfing or uphere
and yes, the DB's still run!)
And suddenly, there seems to be a problem with one of the
servers. I jump on my desk, grab my mouse for a microphone
and start singing:
Windows NT, annoying me. Why does it go down and does it
make me frown.
Screens of royal blue, I did nothing to... the servers in
the racks and now it suddenly knacks!

--- my college jumps on his desk, grabbing his mouse and we
continue in a duet...

I guess you get the point.

Anyone uphere feels the same about it?

my friend brent always used to say that it would be really
cool if life had backround music, like in a cartoon and
whatnot

But one piece of music wouldn't fit the mood or taste of
everybody in the vicinity, so this "life as a musical" thing
could get pretty fucking irritating!

Have you ever made a concious effort not to walk in time to
the music in a record store? :P

I realize that. But sometimes I allmost DO IT!

It's really hard to constrain yourself and NOT sing and
dance.

Should I see a shrink?

I agree...there's so many situations where i've
thought.."damn, i'd really like a piece like THIS to be
playing right now"...like when i was in the woodlands, and i
could really imagine BoC fitting in there...

Why cant life be a musical??

There is actually a very simple answer to this question: Not
everyone is gay.

Yes, I was walking in the woods late at night with moonlight
as the only source of light to see the path and the main
synth loop from BoC's "Beware the Friendly Stranger" played
over and over again in my head. I didn't really choose to
hear it, it just started doing it. It was quite cool
though.

Usually my brain just plays my own DnB to suit anything
frantic.

If I knew the song Id join in. Hell you never know, someone
may join you, the entire office perhaps. But maybe you
shouldnt try to find out and risk being fired.

I got an idear. Find out your boss's favorite songs and sign
it in a Hollywood musical fashion around payday.
