Do you think a time will come where all CDs have copy
protection or do you think it's something that will be
limited to the major labels?

Microsoft claim to of just created a new method of
protection.

I bet you this will be cracked within a month of its rele...

I think it will mainly be pop music labels that incorporate
it- I'd like to think that smaller labels are
mature/intelligent enough to understand small scale
(online)piracy is good for record sales.

No, but you can be sure that the next music format will have
copy protection up to the gills.

(see Super Audio CD)

Well, as long as you can PLAY a CD, you can RIP it. If not
digitally, you can always go analog.

Same goes for video.
