I assure you I like very different kinds of music, thats
what is great about music, that it can be so different.
and I will of course search for youkota´s music.

is it something easy to notice that I am a very hardcore fan
of autechre?

is yokota very different to them, then what does he/she
sound like?

quite easy to notice i'd say :)
they're (ae) are still mistery to me

yokota (he) has a pretty unique sound and music imo,
actually i became a fan of aphex twin (i know him for a long
time, but never put much attention on him) because of
him-when i read some comments about yokota's albums, critics
were comparing his music to early rdj and eno music so-that
was my true discovery of idm (i was buying a lot of warp
stuff before, but i never heard of idm hehe)
so about yokotas music-peple usually describe it as
ambient-it is to a certain extend, but it is not the
classical ambient, could be something alike saw1 and saw2,
he uses a lot of traditional japanese music sounds aswell,
his latest album (the boy and the tree) is much less
electronic than his previous ones, it takes some time to get
into it, but it is surely one of the top three releases in
2002. What i love about him is that he is highly productive
guy hehe, he puts an wonderful album out almost every
year-actually he puts out several albums, but some of those
are house (he is a house dj aswell), and a funny thing is, i
never liked house much, but couple of yokotas house albums i
can actually listen to hehe

Nope, only Lennon's voice can do that song justice. Those
''ALL RIGHTS!!!'' at the end are the icing on an already
delicious cake. Grandaddy's is good too.

I HATE Beatles cover songs!
