I recently got this CD as a gift and I was planning on
returning it, but the front cover was so intriguing that I
gave up and opened it. so I listened to it last night while
driving and realized it's really good. it's got kind of an
OK Computer/The Bends feel to it..though the vocals kind of
suck..fucking vocalists...music is reeaally good, anyone
like this album? am I not alone? (I am where I live)

its ok but i prefer the 1st album, lost souls. more
intriguing is their b-sides (non-album tracks for you
younger folk), one of olny a few bands that takes them
seriously still.

i saw them live at cambridge. Bloody good gig, the songs
really stood up there and they played one of thier old
dancier stuff at the end which made me smile :)

horray for the doves!

The Last Broadcast is one of my favourite albums of last
year. Restored my faith in guitar music.

This album irritates me, for some reason it's amazingly dull
to my ears.

it's good, but their first album really is sooo much better.

I'd agree with the consensus here; the Last Broadcast is not
a patch on the more introspective and instrumental first.

I think that dance track at the end of their sets is a new
composition.

They come across as smart guys too with good taste in music.
