Pola 'Meme' (glitch and house elements)

Minamo 'A Herdsman's Life' (lovely album of processed guitars,
piano)

Chihei Hatakeyama 'Minima Moralia' (one of the best Kranky
releases, if you like SOTL, Brian Mcbride and Tim Hecker
etc)

Mosiktoo 'Drape' (If you like Gutevolk or Piana
then this is an excellent album to check)

Shining by Minamo is great and these samples sound very
nice. Will definately pick this up! Thanks for the heads up!

i'm downloading a random track from each of the artists
mentioned in this thread. soulseek has crashed three times
on me so far due to the strain. this is going to be some
kind of crazy japanese musics playlist.

World's End Girlfriend are a good band, the album with Mono
from 2005 was one of the highlights of the year for me. Can
be a pain to get their stuff though.

Noble is a good little label.

i listened to about half of my six-hour playlist and for the
most part i couldn't tell where one track ended and the
other began. mostly just drones and glitches. some good
tracks, though.

I don't know.. China has apparently gotten a bit less strict
on the music front lately, and I know that there's a big
rock scene over there, but rock.. well, for rock to be good
these days, it has to transcend rock and not be rock any
more... Other genres are less played out, or they have a
wider space to play in. There could be a great electronic
music scene in China...
