Most talented IDM artist?

If you were to choose one IDM/electronica artist that you
think is the most talented, who would it be?

My vote goes to FSOL, because their music (especially the
new album) is all REAL with REAL talent, more so than RDJ,
who just does hs stuff all on computers. He can't pick up an
electric guitar and start playing it, you know what I mean?
Anyway, that's just my humble opinion.

What do you guys think?

i'd pick SUSUMU YOKOTA-this guy is genius
rdj is pretty close to that

anyways ignoring a possible argument about 'real talent' i'd
say venetian snares.

computer.

Talent for instruments?
or talent for composing?
the former takes physical sleight while the latter requires
one to have a creative tendency! :D

id say autechre or brothomstates...

my gf has studied music for a long time, and she thinks
autechre are basic and have very little clue about music
theory... after listening to my cd's she thinks Squarepusher
is the best... theory and ability wise

def, tracks like avril 14th are kick ass

whether or not afx is the most 'genious' of them all or even
most talented who knows, hes def top 5?

theres something about boc that really does it for me, not
since afx have i fealt that way so i think they can be
counted too.. it may not be talent in the sense of being
able to play an instrument to a certan skill level, but in
the final piece of music produced.

I cant decide...

and I dont think it would be fair If I did...

I love so many different artists, but in different ways.

I think its foolish to say someone is the best.

I mean, music isnt about being popular... its about
expressing emotion...

I have different artists for different moods... and for me
to pick one artist as the best... well, that would really
shortchange and undermind all the other music I love.

Most-talented candy company: Hershey's.
Hands down!

Is Reese's a subsidiary of of Hershey's. If not, Resse's is
the most talented.

I think Hershey's owns everything. Ever have a Snickers?
It's a Hershey's. And M&Ms and Skittles, and things.
Unless it says, "Nestle" or "Wonka," I think it's Hershey's!

think you can't play the computer like him :D think that's
what counts in IDM
otherwise you should become a pop star or something IMO

i say Aphex as well
listen to the melodies on Girl/Boy song and Alberto Balsalm
for instance..

Avril 14th is the most throwaway of the drukqs piano tracks.
Stuff like father and one of the ones on disc2 with slight
detuned intervals over deep bass notes (before meltphace6 i
think) are much more thoroughly composed and emotional. To
adults I mean. Avril 14th is pleasantly naive.

Each artist has their own skills in each area. I just would
go for Aphex because he is very creative with his skills
hence his large back catalogue (what we get to see of it)
varying quite a lot. The 'Thinking of you' album by Bogdan
Raczynski also has some good arrangements in.

jamie lidell is great but hes done some crap song too, i
suggested µziq because even tho i dont like all his work, i
can still tell it must have taken talent to make it....

My vote goes to squarepusher. Cause hes creating totally
unique music and he plays it all himself. On Music is rotted
one note he played it all, drums bass Synthies.
I think on Album like Hard Normal Daddy, Budakhan Mindphone
& especially MIRON he reaches a depth like no other atrist.
