As it was cold I started composing a little wintery piano
midi piece. Only about 10 bars so far and about 4 of those
sound a bit wrong. Still, I like it. I just played it all
the way through and it started snowing! :D

i have a clear idea of a winter sound. i want to hear yours
as well, so when/if you get it complete...

according to his CD-booklet..

it's snowing here too, but that crap kind of snow that just
collects in the gutters and looks like tiny little bits of
polysterene. The type you can't make snowballs out of cos it
doesn't stick together. I think i'll put lows "christmas" ep
on :)

kind of high, quick and nice tones? like
dipidpididipidi-style?

(ok describing a sound is too hard in english)

just make sure you put in on the net before the 25th .. i'd
love to have a white chritmas again

strange that snow can make it so much more cosey.. but it
really feels that way

*still tries to imagine how 'dipidpididipidi' would
sound...*

ooh do you like classical music..?
i like some..

pretty cool to see that no-one said/dared to say 'classical
music' on the '5 worst genres' thread..
would have been nonsense if someone did

i think i get the idea..
with that chopin thing

i wonder if he himself would also have described his music
with words that way :DD

i could describe it much better in finnish :) so chopin
probably could too.

for cold winter days when you're out, 'are you shivering?'
by coil is *the* track to play imo.

for warm summer days, i usually dig out my jamiroquai
records (this is really summer music).

for rainy days... 'on'?

It's some low chords & notes for left hand, but I'll make
them quieter when I edit it in a proper package and not just
some freeware midi arranger. The right hand is like neetta
described.

I'll try working on it at lunchtimes then master it at home.
Hope MP3.com lets me UL it in time :(

Don't worry- I'll put it on my demo Cd-r for you :)

I played it again, it's actually 20 bars long so far, I'd
been counting groups of 8 notes rather than 4 (habit from
fruit loops composition ;) ) the start is too slow though, I
need to sort that out. Still, I like it.

I'm pretty happy with this track now, but I can't get
anything on the PC to actually sound like a piano. If I
emailed the score of the sheet music to someone any chance
they could record themselves playing it on piano? Email me
if you'd like to help. Cheers, Ceri.
