Future Sound Of London

\/\/ooƒer_Attack² from Milan on 2001-09-05 07:44 [#00029531]

What's happen to them? Their last album is dated 1996, where
are they, now?

If you know something about Future Sound, tell me.

Thanx

I have.... this idea that they are no longer a "band"
anymore... and do not make tunes. Its a shame if its true...
I dunno... anyone?

The just put out a remix ep last month.

New material is pending.

In addition:

I have heard that they have been very busy working on their
visual design. Photography, film and art are very important
to them. As much as music is. They have been working on
their multimedia.

I read a thing on their fansite about six months ago that
they had nearly finished an album which apparently was
psychedelic guitar music, with electronic madness strapped
on top. I do hope they hurry up about it, the lazy cunts.

Garry Cobain and Brian Dougans a/k/a FSOL.They have worked
in the past (1992,just before releasing Lifeforms) as the
multimedia group,Amorphous Androgynous. Still,both guys
works as AA,but releasing multimedia stuff, they even in some
ocassions, transmitted live music and remixes, exclusively on
the internet, via ISDN,DSL and T1.Dont know anything else
about any FSOL releases.Just they have been working a lot on
multimedia, film and audio transmittions as AA.

i heard a month or so ago that they have dont around 11
hours of radio shows called "the mellow hippo disco radio
show" or something similar and were in the process of
selling the shows to radio stations. supposedly including
new bits by them and loads of psycedelic 70's stuff too.
anyone else heard this???

I have the 'experimental guitar' music album- Sucks! Sucks!
Sucks!

I listened to it once and have spent the interveining year
trying to convice myself that it was a horrible mixup by the
distributor.

Now I guess I have to face the facts that the tossers won't
ever make the like of "Smokin' Japanesee Babe" again.

Is that what that turd's called?
I cannot remember ever being more disappointed in an album.

I still see that time 1992-1996 as the heyday of electronic
music- especially dance and ambient- fsol, orb, higher
intelligence agency, woob, pswog, aphex was in his prime...
christ I'm gonna stop before I get all weepy.
