of singing and clapping on the cd.

uh-oh I smell trouble, I hope its not like overly accessible

is true I hope its done right.

Just as long as it sounds more like their first 3 albums
I'll be happy.

accesable probably = traditional melodies. personally i
would like more Confield but, maybe they will bring a new
style that pleases both Confield and Incunabula fans

"utechre 'TBC' album (7 April)
They're curating All Tomorrow's Parties. Their new album is
their most
accessible yet. No foolin'. Melodies, a hip hop swagger, and
all the
intensity and coloursound you know and love. Massive."

nooooo!! accessible=bad! gantz graf=good! they are
supposed to continue their post-industrial meltdown, not go
back to electro yet!

what bullshit. accessible in "idm"-terms is still pisshard
for most people. I mean, AFX is accessible.

lets wait till the album comes out.

i thought to mehself the other day, "if somebody on this
board passed away, we'd never know." they'd just be gone,
and who knows? maybe that's not worth dwelling on, but i
thunk it.

I'm glad it'll be, quote-unquote, ''more accessible.''.
Doesn't mean it won't be weird. You can't be weirder than
Gantz Graf. It could be another Confield and still be more
accessible!

this time around

Well BoC is accessible...

But I was kinda surprised hearing it from autechre seeing
the direction they were going...

I'm just curious to see what kind of stuff they are going to
do...

why do you guys think it's accessible, cos some anonymous
fan on the internet told joyrex it was?

I guess we'll just have to wait and see,..

I'm just glad that a band like autechre is still "active"

i hope autechre never stops putting out music. 7 albumns
is a lot for any artists... not to mention countless eps...
heck ep7 is an albumns length.. they are easily one of my
favorite artists.

judging what the albumn will sound like at this point is
futile... and you know the release date will be pushed
back!

accessible = melodies
gantz_graf = no melodies = inaccessable for most people.

And, for the record, Inky did not tell me it was their most
accessible yet - he merely relayed the news to me regarding
the forthcoming release.

thanks for the update joyrex, but what i'm saying is people
here shouldn't be debating the new autechre album long
before anyone's heard it, especially since you didn't cite
any official or reliable sources for the "acessible" bit.
the gesture's nice (telling people how it'll sound) but
until that's confirmed it IS futile to have a 50 post topic
about the supposed new sound

i'd love it to be a continuation of Tri Repetae ++, but with
a 4 compact disc set... and an interactive DVD along with
it... where you can create your own ae song w/their samples
:) :) :).... quoth would cream his pants

jupitah... i was really really high when i wrote that.

some one IMed me and as a joke i yelled out loud "ARGH!
INSTANT MESSAGE! STRAIGHT TO THE HEART!" and then when i did
get IMed after that, it would really heart, and i had to
turn the sounds off. it was the block sound, so it sounded
like a laser going MWOMP! really loud. and i'd get IMed and
howl in pain. I had to stop it. it hurt more than hot water.

would you cut off my penis if i said i don't like autechre?

it's not that i don't like them, i have albums of theirrs,
but i have gone off them now kinda... i'm not surre bout the
way theirr music has changed. NOT that it's bad, just not
what i like. So i don't think i'll get the new album. Maybe
an MP3 or two. Just to see.
