When I came home with my Muddlin Gear CD I thought: "What
did I do?! what the hell did I buy here?!!" but the more I
heard it, the more I got into it
I like it, it's different but
I like it

Does anyone (dis)agree?

I've only heard "my daddy's car" I think,

I like it, but that song is really too out there to make a
judgment

I like that one too..
but "In Inphidelik" , "The Cop It Suite" , "Silent Why" and
"⌐⌐..⌐" are also worth a try/listen IMO

I love that song..but it is unrepresentative of the
album..if you like that song..I will highly recommend..

Super Collider-Head On!!..very funky with some excellent Vox
by Lidell...to me it's like an album worth of Windowlickers
:)

is that the one which case its made out of the cardboard?
(my memory doesnt serve me that good)

and my cd's are not that well arranged...so im usually
searching by color of the front cover or some other outside
detail

Mine isn't cardboard but there might be some limited edition
ones. It's well worth a listen, especially if u like free
jazz stuff or confield. It's not REALLY like either of those
but there are occasional similarities. The last track is
like a fucked-up barbershop quartet thing :D

I got mine for £1 in vinyl exchange, manchester! Woo!

ohh, yeah...i have the same one...from what i remember i
bought it the same day as broadcast album...i remember i
listened to those two quite often, so yeah perhaps i better
check it again!

Didn't much care for Muddlin Gear, but will give it another
try now. I saw Lidell live at the last Nesh in LA, and that
was one of the most exciting performances I've ever seen
live. That guy had so much energy even my lazy ass was
yelling for an encore. Its funny though, Autechre is one of
my very favorite bands but at the end of their live set I
was thankful I could go home and rest my tired feet.

all ive heard is daddy's car, but i love that song SO much!

it's a shame i heard he doesnt really sing like that on alot
of stuff. very prince, in a bizarre way.

ah .. daddy's car is truly amazing.

u familiar with Super_Collider [Lidell & Vogel]?! (plenty of
quasi-prince singing/wailing) definitely worth checkin, esp.
"Head On" that's got a mad party thang going :D
