yeah, i think titsworth was promoting their music-and he was
saying something about buying album directly from their
record label
i forgot all the details tho, but he said it is cheaper to
buy it there

you have to scroll down to 2003 (just do control find for
specific things it may be easier)

this is what he had posted on F2K in two different posts

1. Telefon Tel Aviv 2003 They are writing melodies and
working on drum sounds right now for their new album which
they will record before the end of the year.

2. Various Artists Newport South OST Shelved This is from
John Hughes (aka Slicker) himself: "the majority [of the
score] was done by Telefon Tel Aviv. I did a few cues, as
did Scott Herren and Richard Devine. The movie and
soundtrack were both buried by the film company. I think
you can actually find the DVD on amazon.com, but the
soundtrack isn't avialable... and probably won't be any time
soon. The soundtrack is amazing however." The soundtrack
includes TTA's unreleased remix of NIN's "Even Deeper"
(which you can hear if you download a live set of TTA's).
The film itself was slated for release in late September
2001. Last I checked, the film was no longer listed on the
IMDB. CDNOW has the DVD available to own on September 3rd
(2002).

i'm glad you're finding useful info on there......enjoy! =0)

sounds a bit too much like fahrenheit fair enough, no
change... a bit of a pity, but still sounds great! :)

sweet, exotic and dreamy...

Really?

how many songs have you heard? or are you talking about just
that one?

offline gl1tch from The Meantime (United States) on 2002-11-28 10:52 [#00460048]
Points: 313 Status: Regular

Well wouldn't you say the fahrenheit fair enough sound "is"
their sound?

That's like saying that new Autechre song sounds like
Autechre....

I'm quite content with them doing what they they do for now.
It's a nice space that they create.

i wouldn't be disappointed if it sounds like FFE, i know it
won't sound EGGACTLY like it......so i'll be happy!!

they are new....and still fiddling around, but what an
amazing FIRST effort. it's exciting to be at the ground
level so to speak of a new band and watching them grow!!
=0)

Well the new track has a female vocalist on it which I
thought was an amazing adition to their already lulling
sound.

It makes me hungry for cuddles and dreams.

should sound a bit like ffe since 2 of the 4 tracks are
remixes from that album. still havent heard it though, so i
cant confirm that.

im positive they have it... this is like the bestest
underground music store in the world

FFE is the only track I've heard by them. Can anyone
recommend anything else?

offline gl1tch from The Meantime (United States) on 2002-11-28 12:33 [#00460165]

Well they only have one album at the moment which is titled
"fahrenheit fair enough", but they also did two remixes for
APC ( Judith and 3 Libras )... Judith Owns!

And they also did work on Nine Inch Nails "Things Falling
Apart" - The Frail and Where is Everybody w/Danny Lohner

All very good stuff, except maybe where is everybody - Way
to conventional techno.

where the hell are those apc remixes released on??! someone
else mentioned this to me a few weeks ago. ive searched
soulseek and found nothing.

LeCoeur > i have fahrenheit fair enough, i was talking about
what i've heard from the sound clips out of the new ep :)

yes, it's their sound, but they should do a little more
different things i think, experiment, try to explore other
ways - not very different ways but enough for not to
suffer from the 'BoC syndrome' (everything sounding too much
the same).

i'm picky, i'm still looking forward to the next album :)

i have a few remixes.....if you're on slsk you can get them
off me. however be advised it will be at a very slow speed
and will have to be done overnight. =0)

you can prolly put them on your slsk wishlist and get them
faster elsewhere. lemmie know.

the info was removed from my site cos the ep finally got
released. for $7 you can have 4 amazing TTA tracks:
1 remix by prefuse73
1 remix by slicker
1 of the best unreleased TTA songs from their demo cd that
slicker (john hughes) forced them to release
1 brand new song w/ a vocalist

in addition, they're recording a new lp for '03

i don't think the remix of "where is everybody?" is generic
at all. sure, they glitched up the vocals, but it sounds
cool and the mesh between danny and TTA is so perfect. i
believe joshua from TTA also helped danny remix eminem's
"the way i am", that one's not so good just cos it has
manson's stupid singing on it. it's ok but that's the one
i'd finger for "disappointment."

A Perfect Circle - 3 Libras (Feel My Ice Dub)

A Perfect Circle - Judith (Danny Lohner Remix)

those are the 2 remixes by name. both are credited to danny
lohner of nin AND joshua eustis of tta.

you mean the info on my page? i'd say:
50% mtvnews.com (mtv are good for one thing, cool!)
30% nme.com
10% hiphopsite.com
5% artist and label web sites
5% emails from artists or label heads

offline titsworth from Washington, DC (United States) on 2002-12-02 14:31 [#00465090]

hmmm, oh yea and pitchfork and some fan sites. so make that

45% mtvnews.com
35% nme.com
10% pitchfork

5% hiphopsite, 5% official artist/label sites, 5% fan
sites.

there goes 2 minutes of my life i'll never get back
