saw it today-this was certanly money wasted i went to see it mainly because of polanski but this was just stupid imo i saw this in numerous films before, and i cant really see why didi this film win in cannes festival-i guess people just like spectacular films-this is true it is very spectacular, but i wouldnt watch it again i hope polanskis next film is going to be back to his normal :) |

huh, i thought this was a powerful movie, especially for polanski. the complete characteristic lack of sentimentality worked in its favor. i'm not quite sure how you can say it was a waste of money. |

i don't know how to explain this really; film was obviously pretty expensive but it didnt convince me in either way, there are just to many cliches and not a single sentimental scene, nothing to remain in my memory, and this may sound bad, but with some additional comic inserts this film would be easily marked as a parody movie. ofcourse this is just my opinion! it seems that film touched many people so obviously im wrong about saying "money wasted"... |
