ok, I friggin love this band..
I'm guessing there's a few other fans lurking around. I've
had a Antique Dreams for a long time but recently have been
collecting more CDs and tapes even.. Got Optical Race and
loved it, even thoiugh it's late. Got Hyperborea and now
White eagle for my birthday and I just think they're
wonderful. opinions?

blatant: TD is one of those pioneer electronica groups you
hear about, usually in conjunction with kraftwerk even
though they're much different. started in '69(!) . if you
like epic, psychadelic analogue synthesizer music then it's
highly reccommended. it's quite ingenious actually. very
melodic and complex. they did lots of soundtracks too..
you've prolly heard some.

i went to their official site and listened up some samples
of earliest material, reminded me of King Crimson, and not
much electronic sounds could i hear, just alot of electric
guitar noodling. not enough to make me want to hear more
unfortunately.

I'm afraid you picked the wrong stuff to listen to first..
they are known for their synthesizer work almost
exclusively.. not their psychadelic rock beginnings (which
do sound King crimson like..). I would listen to stuff from
'75 - '88.

I really liked the work they did for "RiskyBusiness"

...incredible melody makers they are indeed...,

I haven't heard "Logos" or "Lengends" but it sounds like
it's worth checking out...
