What are some songs that just touch you so deeply you feel like shedding a tear?
For me: Autechre- Vietrmx21 Clint Mansell/Kronos Quartet- Summer Overture (from Reqium for a Dream)
Autechre- Clipper (right when the ambience creeps in... such a lonley sad moment in Autechre's music)

The title piano music of American Psycho. It's such a shame there's only about a minute of it.

Yes so is telefon tel aviv actually. I went for a walk in the university park the other day (the campus in very green and has loads of land + a lake) and it was lovely cos of all the autumn colours etc.. and I had ttv on the minidisc player. Despite the bubbly querkiness I find most of the tracks extremely melancholic. *sniff* :)

Deathprod's "Dead People Things", Burial's "Archangel", Madonna "Waiting", Aphex's "Vordhosbn", "St. Michel's", The Tuss LP, Kode 9 "Victims", Tricky "Pre-Millenium Tension" LP, David Bowie "1.Outside" LP (I'm Deranged, The Small Plot of Land in particular...)
but it's not that these songs/records are sad. i'd say "emotional" and thats why make me cry.
