Who's got an erection when they think about this game? I do, I do!
I just beat Starfox Adventures this morning, after many weeks of procrastinating. Wicked game, buy it if you haven't already. Next on my hitlist is MPrime, and then Zelda. Gamecube started out so slow, but now it's just masterpiece after masterpiece... so who's getting Prime?

oh man... i'm all over that like white on rice; too bad i can't afford it yet! :D although i think they should have made a 2d game instead; keep the oldschool gameplay and up the graphics and sound, i don't know about that gameboy advance metroid....

I've got the ROM for Fusion (thanks to Princo), and it lives up to Super Metroid, it's still old school and true to its roots. I'm glad they're taking it 3-D... exploration is so awesome in Metroid, huge 3-D environments is perfect for this shit. I hope it's done right... and like I said, Fusion is a suitable sequel in its own right.

It looks outstanding, but I'm a bigger fan of the 2d ones. Nonetheless, I'll still buy it. Gamecube sure has picked up, and there's some great games out for it, but I'm also glad I have my PS2 for RPGs and all that 3rd party support.

The babe magnet at Electronics Boutique just took my reservation.. He talks to me in Klingon like I'm one of his fellow pasty rpg basement-dwellers(which I'm DEFINATELY not). It's especially bad when I go in there with a flock of vixen and he starts waxing mhz and gigaflops on me.. My charisma rating drops to like -4.

Re : Screenshots I'm sure http://www.gamespot.com has loads of them.
If you have both Prime and Fusion you can use the system link cable to unlock an almost-identical NES Metroid, the only difference being you won't have to write down 68 character passwords because the Gamecube allows you to store your savegames in it's memory card. My panties are getting wet just thinking about it.

stupidest statement ever, eternal darkness is one of the best games ever constructed, it a totally new and different experience with an excellent storyline. buy it now,it does however take a while to get into it like many cds etc.

didnt mean to act mad at you cabbog, i just want a few more people to appreciate that game, doesnt seem to be selling all that great. the company(silicon knights) next game will most likely be a game called Too Human which should be released in 2003 sometime but its unknown. it originally was a psx game but theyre now a nintendo 2nd party developer. they made legacy of kain blood omen 1 for psx if anyone remembers that game.

I think the most underrated game for the Nintendo is Pikmin; I haven't had so much (clean)fun in years! I've been swept up in the mania -- I even ordered the Japanese exclusive plush dolls! Someone told me that there's a sequel coming out; haven't heard anything official though..

I don't. If you're talking about that new 3d one, the commercial ad looked a clone of the typical 3d genre platformy stuff. This is not metroid just as zelda64 was not zelda. You're really probably playing mario64 version # 26 or something.
That toe jam and earl remake on xbox looks good though. at least it stays true to it's original "3d" feel.

Use the search engine to look up anything of interest. It's about the science of games, not really reviews. That shit is INTeresting.

Not even close, the game is going to take the Metroid feel to the next level... the videos give you this EPIC sense of exploration, just you and the aliens and the environment, just like old times. I can't wait anymore.
And Timesplitters is shit on the bottom of Samus Aran's rocket boots!
