im listening to nirvana stuff today after quite a while...i
get all nostalgic at times like this, i remember whole
school getting crazy at this stuff and we had great time.
what do kids listen to nowdays?? surely robbie williams and
britney spears (it's all good music)...back then it was
either a nirvana fan or beating :)

I used to be a nirvana-aholic but over time I slowly lost
interest....I still listen to the old cds every once and a
while. Tragedy what happened....really...=/

I love Nirvana, but I think Bleach is quite bad.
There are some good songs on it, but the recording sounds
terrible. It just hurts my ears. And that's not cool, you
know.

shame that greatest hits album ever had to see the light of
day. its a tacky excercise in scraping the barrel. even the
'exclusive, new' track had been doing the rounds on bootlegs
since the early nineties. its not a very good song anyway..
there were plenty of opportunities to make it a b-side, if
not an album track.. but it just didnt happen. probably for
a reason. the rougher (less overproduced) version i heard on
a bootleg was better than the official release.
a cd like that is only useful for the record company to try
+ get kids who were too young to get into nirvana the first
time round to buy their records.

I like Bleach very much. Not as polished, sure. But that
was the sound = = aka Grunge, before the big daddy labels
sunk money into the grunge cash cow.
Nevermind sounds the most produced and really really good,
mind you. It's just nice to see/hear the original feel of
Nirvana and those other bands before they were mtv babies.

bleach is bad!?!?! wtf?! blasphemy!

its not the most well produced, but man if you think thats
bad you havent heart shit my friend! shit all! because there
are millions of recordings out there far worse than this
one.

bleach is my favourite nirvana cd, its so fuckin good.

there are so many amazing unreleased nirvana tracks

the token song
on the mountain
pen cap chew
blandest
marigold was one, but I think it was released once

there are many more as well, they did tons of cool covers
too.

i've recently started reading the Kurt Cobain jorunals which
is actually proving to be quite interesting.

Nirvana was one of the first bands i fell in love with. And
it was like the 2nd concert i ever saw.

great show it was... Nirvana, Butthole Surfers, Firehose,
and bass head.

it was the second to last NIrvana show ever. The last show
was the next night here in seattle at mercer arena. Very
good concert.

I like how Curt's voice sounded like a distorted guitar.

Yeah, I love the ''bad'' production on Bleach. Nevermind
and, to a lesser extent, In Utero are too polished and lack
testes.

Incesticide is probably my favorite, though. The Vaselines
cover is definitely my fave 'Vana track.

early nevermind tour, before "teen spirit" hit

nirvana shows and it was a mere $15.00 or someting like
that

see that guy in the background, leaning on the wall, not me
