jeremy's voice back in the day was spectacular. years of smoking seems to have stripped him of that lovely falsetto. i am pretty disappointed with The Fire Theft. way to 70's prog rock for my tastes.

pretty girls make graves are nice too. they just don't stand out from the rest of the herd like sunny day did back in the early 90's. right now, i think Death Cab for Cutie and Juno are the best seattle has to offer. DCFC were always very hit or miss with me, but the new album finally got it right. lyrics, songwriting and most importantly variety.

I bought Diary a while back and it's pretty cool.. it definitely paved the way for the future sound of emo. Too bad the hordes of imitators can't hold a candle to SDRE.

It's a shame what's-his-name got all Christian on us.

that is one of my favorite album arts of all time.. and good to hear about the shirt, I love sporting a fav band on some comfy threads. ;)
also, I've been inspired to buy "How it feels to be something on" I'm gonna try to find it on ebay and if I can't I'll get it from interpunk. :D
