i have just took out another loan for a system to run DOOM3: AMD 64 3000+ 1GB DDR RAM 80GB 7200rpm hard drive nVidia GeForce 6800 GT 256MB Graphics card hopefully, that should run it like hot shit off a shovel |

my friend bought that version at the same time I bought Doom3, it was like a little doom medley that we had ourselves... that is THE definitive collection of Doom up to Doom3.... it has every official level ever made for Doom and DoomII. |

Just got my new system put together today: AMD 64 3200+ MSI K8N Neo Platinum Nforce 3 ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb 1 gig Corsair XMS3200 DDR400 WD 80 gig 8mb (wish raptors weren't so damn much :[ ) Now all I gotta do is go bit torrent Doom 3 and look into what I need to do to exactly overclock this beast. Doom 3 is OK, I'm only grabbing it to see if my PC can handle it on High Res. |

i have played quite allot of doom3 today.. have been bored as hell so... I have to say that two things about this game is awsome, the graph, especially the light!! second thing is the fact that ths game has managed to make me shit my pants over and over again.. no matter how many imps i kill and how easy i know they are.. they still manage to scare me when they show up on places odd places. i dunno if it's just me but this game really scares me quite often, i hate when things just show up or sound load all of a sudden.. good evening |

for those of you who have played it so far, i have to ask this, is there a hell portion of the game? and is there allot of open space with loads of monsters? because if the whole thing is just narrow hallways with surprise attacks, i would be very dissapointed. what i look forward to, or hope to see, is a sickly detailed hell, with open terrain where gunfire and fireballs are all coming at you while you dodge them. |

No place in the game has allot of open space... it's 98 percent of the time small hallways and rooms. the hell is not more open either, but it is sickly detailed =) the game is a bit too linear... but it's pretty fun.. for 30min. |
