Confield might break a few rules here and there , but besides the 3 listenable tunes, the other stuff is just plain dull IMO... Squarepushers one is pretty good.. Plaid's Double Figure is the most enjoyable out of those 3 artists.. Sorry, it seems biased but Aphex's DRUKQS blows all 3 out of the water by a long shot.. It might not be totally groundbreaking for Aphex's standards, but its brilliant nonetheless. Its the most diverse, crazy and beautiful album of the last 2 years by far. This album alone shows so-called contenders like Richard Devine, Kid 606 whose still the greatest solo electronic artist of all time, this side of Stockhausen and Eno.... |
