it was a bank but yea he just went in, signed up for a bank
account, and the bank tellers (who are licensed firearms
dealers as well) gave him a gun from their collection of
FIVE HUNDRED guns there in the bank. fucking madness.

was he for gun control or was he explaining both sides?..
the thing about gun control is criminals are going to get
gns no matter what, why punish the responisble gun owners
who use it for hunting and self protection..

i read a review about that film on the weekend, the pic for
it had him holding a hunting rifle and a camera, it looks
hilarious.

moore's a member of the NRA and as a kid he used to win
awards for shooting, so he comes at the issue pretty fairly.
obviously it's a VERRRRRRY subjective documentary but it's
well grounded at the same time.

Maybe they will, but the US has so many in circulation and
so many deaths by firearms. Its a very different story over
here where we have far fewer shootings.

i used to be into Michael Moore's stuff, including both TV
shows he's had in the past. but i dunno, i just got kind of
sick of politics in general and lost interest in him or
anything political. it just gets tiresome. Guy A doesn't
like Guy B, so Guy A complains about it, then Guy B
complains about that and starts to complain about Guy A, and
it just goes on and on... life is too short to whine about
politics.

um what about the rights of humans, animals, workers, etc.?
is that not important? politics isn't just about whining.

LOL
criminals are going to get guns no matter what??
lol, great point
we should make nuclear bombs legal, cus people are going to
bulid them no matter what

its a clear and indeniable pattern that countries with
strict gun control have much lower violent crime rates

and how is making someone register their gun "punishing"
them??
what about limiting the kinds of guns available?
how is denying someone a fucking M-16 punshing them???

NOBODY shoudl have the right to powerful weapons like that

sometimes the United States seems to be possessed by a
rampant individualism bordering on anarchy (ok thats a bit
of an over-statement but u know what i mean).... its insane

you're such a tool. you really enjoy trying to provoke
people, huh? first off, I didn't say the subject matter was
unimportant, ya fucking gimp. I simply stated that it gets
tiring hearing the same people complain about the same crap
over, and over, and over, and over again without ever really
doing anything to make some kind of change. if you like
being so political, why don't you get off your ass, leave
the mb, and try making a real difference in the world? you
won't, because you know you can't, nobody can, and that's
why politics gets boring fast. everyone complains about
something, but do we ever try to change it? of course not,
that involves work.

if you want to live your life stuck up and annoyed with
every single aspect in the world you disagree with and
always be unhappy, then by all means, go for it. but don't
try to drag me down with you, i'm perfectly happy living a
life without worry of things that can't and won't change
just because i don't like it. take you for example: you're a
goddamn cunt, but will I waste my time complaining and try
to change you? of course not, some things just aren't worth
the effort.

i'm not replying to any of your generalizations cos they're
baseless. you're guessing (not necessarily correctly) at my
tone through text on a message board. assuming you even get
the tone correctly, how can you approximate my whole
lifestyle and personal interests? when have i ever said i
was annoyed with every single aspect of the world? i think
you're projecting here. i don't know what's wrong with you
but i know it has nothing to do with me. i wish you luck in
sorting out your problems.

to be honest, except for 10 or so users i don't even pay
attention to people's names. i have a habit of just reading
the messages, only sometimes reading who wrote them. even
then i often lose track of who's who cos there are so many
people on here. if i reply it's not cos i'm picking on
someone but cos a message or topic has spurred me to
respond. it's not that deep, really.

i don't think i'm being nasty. i'm trying to explain my
actions, but asides from that i just aim to be myself - not
nasty, polite, or anything in specific. i speak my mind, and
if i can't do so on an idm message board, then where can i?
