Everyone has to find an Mp3 of this genius. I've mentioned
him on here before. He does the funniest NIN - Closer cover.
I implore you all to check him out. richardcheese.com is the
website (I think).

They played that at a nightclub I was in a few months ago.
It is the farm style one yes?

yea there are some fun covers on that lounge album,
especially the rage against the machine cover. really
illustrates the silliness of that band.

Ceri: It's not farm style. It's lounge/cabaret.

Tits: Spot on with your observation there. Rape me is too
good. That ending!

Yeah, I've heard the Richard Cheese one now, the one I heard
before was by someone else (sounds like a redneck singing "I
wanna...etc." very funny).

My flatmate is a big fan so I'v heard quite a bit of
their/his stuff now.

I've been listening to it most of the morning - I prefer
Tuxicity to LATM, it's funnier and better played. And I
actually enjoyed the Linkin Park cover! Arghh!

get Teddies that said That dick really swings! Don't
know if you still can.

His new one has some class moments on it - "Han Solo!" - and
the version of Yellow is disturbingly good - but the
tracklisting is a bit duff really. Nice drums on the Slayer
track :D He also does this Lords of Acid track people have
been talking about, weird.

Nine Inch Richards

was it?

I've no idea, the DJ was being a twat and wouldn't tell me
who it was by :(

sung in redneck style, lyrics are literally about wanting to
fuck someone like an animal, with added farmyard noises ad
stuff

if so, then that is the version of Closer done under the
name Nine Inch Richards and called "Closer To Hogs"

:)

I was watching the new Dawn of the Dead and in a certain
part, unknownly, Richard Cheese - Down With A Sickness comes
on. I was laughing so much, I was thinking what the fuck is
this doing in a movie, and who is this. That is what got me
into Richard Cheese.

I have that Album Nine Inch Richards, I'll check it out when
i get home to see if thats him

Loving the new album :D

well if the track you're referring to is sung in the style
of a redneck, and the lyrics are more inclined to actual
sexual activity with animals, and has farmyard noises
(especially around 3/4 of the way through the track) then it
IS the Nine Inch Richards one :)

Read what I wrote:

Nine Inch Richards is not the same person.

Richard Cheese does a cover of closer that doesn't involve
farm animals. He does it in a lounge style and not redneck.
Hell you can listen on his website.
