Some very interesting stuff I've listened to lately:

Bjork, "Homogenic."
Dashboard Confessional, "The Swiss Army Romance."
Today Is The Day, "In The Eyes Of God."

All those recordings are beautiful in their own ways, even
though they vary immensely.

if you want amazing records, check out all rephlex' recent
output...
it is designed to take longer to get your head around yes
but it lasts far longer than other contemporary electronic
music once the penny has dropped
and it's all based upon the huge and wide-ranging knowledge
of it's founders

warp have been pretty consistent this year too, and
planet-mu is always surprising : )
