finally its happening! after 8 months of saving, two months
of fighting, and now 3 days of worrying, my wife and myself
have finally gotten loan approval to buy a house.

went looking all weekend, and at the moment its down to
about 5 places. of course this could change at any time, but
man, im so excited about this. bit scared aswell, but hey,
thats meant to be normal.

anyway, just wanted to share it. here's two of the places
were looking at. looked at number 1 today. very nice.
looking at number 2 tommoz.

one

two

Sweet houses!
Man, I thought uk housing prices were high- what the Aus $
to £ UK exchange rate at the mo?

Best of luck and I hope you enjoy your new home. :)

Best of luck, Hep. Nice houses, too! I'll shit myself when I
get one, so much I can do with it. I want a house all to
myself, a big mansion out in the country, big scary road
through the woods leading to this big house on a cliff. Only
then will I be satisfied. When I get it, I'll start a topic
to let you all know. ;-)

Same sort of house as I want, somewhere nice and isolated
like on some moors ore something...

Good luck.

I vote for the first one. The second one seemed really nice
and all, but that gangplank leading up to the front door
seems like too much fun.

You and your wife can play pirates.

looked at number two today. its very cool. all timber
interior, with bookshelves built into the walls and stuff.
thing is, theres an ongoing sale on this place. the agent
said it might fall through, so we should look anyway, but im
not gonna get my hopes up. DAMN! i want this one.

looked at a few other today too. including one with a self
contained granny flat downstairs. i little (well allot) more
expensive, but it would be nice to rent out, just till we
get on our feet.

anyway, guess we'll just keep looking. sooo much fun!
