Release date: 9.25.02

I know there aren't many Beck fans in here... sorry~

Anyhow, this new Beck album is so amazing. Fans of Mutations
will enjoy it very much. It's really depressing. I'm really
depressed right now so it has been my soundtrack for the
past few days..

Hop on slsk and check out a few tunes (06.Nothing I Haven't
Seen, 03.Guess I'm Doing Fine), then go buy it on the 25th..
;o)

Beck is pretty good, he writes good tunes.

This album is DEFINITELY his best... did he break up with
his girlfriend? If so that may be why the album is so
depressing. It's funny how bad events can inspire the best
music.

Agreed. The only bad thing about it is that it's only 8
tracks. Maybe we'll get to hear a few similar sounding
b-sides when it gets released.

Wishful thinking tits, the official tracklisting on beck.com
is only listing 8 tracks... But, I'm sure there will be a
Japanese import that's like, a triple album or something..

The album has 12 tracks. I've downloaded all them off
soulseek already. They kick ass:) You should go download the
rest Pomme De Terre

that looks more accurate, but if beck.com says it's only 8
tracks then that could be an import version w/ bonus tracks.

I want to see him in concert since he will be touring with
the Flaming Lips as his backup band!

things.

Beck is definitely a major artist in pop music, i thought he
had sort of went overboard on Midnight Vultures,
overreaching, and it ended up more like parody, even though
well produced... too well produced, sort of "souless",
overproduced. i am looking forward to him working his way
back to songwriting. i hope it is depressing as hell :)
