killing each other.

True dat DaWeeze.
And Exhore, he obviously does care enough to mention him
on one of his pop hit singles.
I think its really fucking stupid to talk shxt on someone
on one of your singles. If you heard an LL Cool J song now,
from in the 80's rapping about how Cindi Lauper was a stupid
bxtch, wouldn't you think it would sound fxcking stupid?

Eminem theory: if I diss moby, maybe then all Moby haters
will buy my CD.
moneymoneymoney!
"oh I'm sooo controversal"
...and the crowd goes wild

am i the only one to think that eminem has a rather an
over-the-top swear? it sort of needs a bit of preparation
before doesnt it?

offline brendan ether from the beach (obx, NC) (United States) on 2002-08-30 23:03 [#00373078]

i personally hate both of the f**ks, honestly. actually, i
think i don't like eminem more than moby. but i can't stand
either of them.... just their mere presence makes me f**king
gag.

offline zaphod from the metaverse on 2002-08-30 23:05 [#00373081]

i hate moby only slightly more than i hate eminem. for the
reasons zeus mentioned, plus moby is one of the most smug
celebrities i've seen in a long time.

theoretically speaking, eminem will be tossed aside in a
matter of a couple years or so

Dissing Moby isn't very cool now is it?
Its like picking a fight with a priest or a budist munk.
Eminem is a coward.
They both suck tho..

I started hating Moby play when people I knew to have
totally shit music taste (mainstream top of the pops teenie
bopper shite) started asking me "Have you heard the new moby
- it's incredible".

I dunno why, I just hate it when things suddenly get really
popular. Like Orbital. Anything after Insides is utter wank
and that seems to co-incide with their growing popularity
and the release of that fucking pile-o-shite "The Beach"

Gahhhhhh. Fuck 'em.

or alternatively I'm talking out my arse...

offline DaWeeze from WANTED IN 16 STATES! on 2002-08-31 02:15 [#00373292]

You can diss Moby all you want...

But don't you dare touch Orbital, Fishboy!

>:.(

moby's musical output is profoundly boring.

moby's play is pretty good

Name one Orbital track on the 2 most recent cds that stands
up against anything on Insides.

obsessed with eminem and moby.

What ? Anti-Moby/Eminem ? or massively popular thing
generally being worthless ?

just when things become popular and how cliche'd they
become.

I don't have that "if its popular it must be
shit"-thing.

I do however, dislike Moby and his music, and I hate Eminem.
(oh? he makes music too? really?)

offline TonyFish from the realm of our dreams on 2002-08-31 02:30 [#00373327]
Points: 3349 Status: Lurker

Yeah to say that popular music is invariably crap would be
pretty stupid. It just seems to be the case with many
musicians I used to like.

Orbial's old stuff still rox.

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2002-08-31 02:31 [#00373330]

how do you determine what's popular?

offline qrter from the future, and it works (Netherlands, The) on 2002-08-31 02:32 [#00373332]
Points: 47414 Status: Moderator

well I can relate on a NIN-level. if I think about it, it
bothers me that there are large numbers of 13 to 15 year
olds who listen to NIN and take Reznors lyrics as gospel.

but then I think, who gives a fuck? if I like it, I like it.

in that case rdj is popular
