i read week to read my next book, which one should i pick: lolita by vladmir nobokov or the screwtape letters by c.s. lewis
those are my only 2 choices (books i own that seem relatively quick to read). library isn't an option cos if i can't read the book in a week i have to return it and it'll be unfinished, i hate that. furthermore, i called them to ask if they had a scanner darkly by phillip k. dick, fear and loathing in las vegas by hunter s. thompson, or choke by chuck pahlaniuk and they're 0 for 3. so it's lolita or screwtape letters - what do you think?

i was on vacation. i looked around your city on a saturday morning, all you finns were still sleeping or staying in your country homes. i checked out lots of statues, parks, trails, and a big lake. then i went shopping in your strange underground mall system.

eaccok??? wtf? if you mean of these books. the ants is a brilliant book about, surprise, ants. sounds boring but is not. eden is a weird science fiction book. the mythago wood is s fantasy/science fiction book, quite extraordinary.

black metal is huge in finland isn't it? when i was in helsinki they had just had a huge concert the night before and there were all these rivetheads, goths, and punks dressed in black t-shirts and corsets walking around.

it was probably the TUSKA (pain) festival. black metal is not that huge in finland, usually. it was the climax of the year for them.
