It does sound like Portishead, also Massive Attack. The
Patton track is him doing his crooning thing =oD

Tits - what do you open .nfo files with? All the track
titles are complete and say 'featuring' if there is a guest
on there

i think you open em with word or notepad or something like
that.

open .nfo with notepad or any word processing software

Yeah, got it... strange, the nfo file has the tracklisting
incomplete but the actual mp3s have been titled. If you
don't have the complete tracklisting names I'll type em out
(maybe =oD)

can i get all the featureds besides patton and mary (#4 and
#12 right?), plus track names for #10-13 and track length
for #13?

God damn you.... ;o)

ok...

10. Acoustic One
11. interlude (crook & abe beat mix)
12. Kool Aid Party (feat. patton)
13. Death by Plane (2.17)

That's all of it covered.

i have the same final track as you. i don't think it's
incomplete as a lot of these demos begin the next track at
the end of the previous track (and then repeat the intro
during the actual song). so the cool beat that comes in
during the final seconds of "death by plane" is for track 14
which the ripper didn't include or the studio guys didn't
put on the cd-r.

i dont know if i want to spoil the surprise of listening to
the whole thing. i know some songs might not be on the real
one or changed a lot. maybe ill listen to only a few of em
to see how it is.

Yeah, looks that way to me too. I'll give this "album" a
good listen tomorrow...

machine: you may as well listen now as it's not going to
come out for a year (if ever). besides, these demos are
MOSTLY solid sounding, i think only about 5 of them will
change much between now and if/when an album is put out.

time. plus im downloading those new live radiohead tracks
now.

Hehehe, they're fucked up

I've heard a few of those b-sides MoG but not all of em, I'm
not that huge a fan of Deftones any more, I preferred the
first record. Still like to hear their new stuff tho.

pink maggit is the last song on the white pony, not a
b-side...

i think no ordinary love (the sade cover) is my fave
deftones b-side. then teething.

offline Jarworski from The Grove (United Kingdom) on 2002-08-20 00:59 [#00356529]
Points: 10836 Status: Lurker

Hmmm, I don't like the sade cover...

The best bit of teething is the intro =oD

I like that live track off the be quiet and drive ep (I
think it's 'Bored') where the kid loses his shoes, funny.

well pink maggit on my list means the song Back to School
which has same chorus. theyre essentially the same thing
only pink maggit white pony version is better.

i just wanted to bump this because the team sleep demos are
so dope. my favorites are "appolonia" (early 80s techno feel
to it) and "ligeia" (great scary ballad, no chino, sung by
mary timony)

now. And where the fuck is the album? Deftones' self-titled
record comes out in a month or so

Yeh, I want to know what's happening with this album. The
official Team Sleep site is down, they aren't playing any
gigs, and you can't find their name on the Maverick web site
any more. I'm getting worried that after this amazing demo,
they're dropping the project.

Does any one out there have any info on this?

I think I heard Team Sleep was on hold until the Deftones
album is out. So hopefully by the fall, there is a page to
order merchandise -

team sleep merchandise
