i have a couple i can think of right now

tupac - do 4 love

tlc - waterfalls

& there was some trac off snoop doggs "the chronic" whose
bass line was used in a beastie boys song; that one is so
cool (both the snoop one & the beastie boys one) =)

anybody else relate here?

i've been humming

eminem's

'cleaning out my closet'

i was hoping to see him this month in concert locally,
however i have to work on the day he's playing so i'm rather
bummed. i really like this song it reminds me of a friend of
mine.

a week ago OUTKAST's

'bombs over bagdad' was rolling around my head cos i'd seen
them in concert!

=0)

Rap and hip hop are not the same thing. Not even close.
Anything mainstream I would not classify as rap or hip hop
even. It would be mainstream/pop.

Check out some real hip hop from Cali like the Living
Legends, Pharcyde, Aesop Rock......etc.

Dr. Dre might be attending Berklee.

He was taking a tour of the school oneday. I didnt actually
see HIM, but I saw his bodygaurds get into the van and drive
him away. apparently he wants to learn more about
production... but it doesnt make sense, cause hes like one
of the greatest producers around right?

iiiiii dunno.

We'll see what comes of it... havnt heard anything since
then though... (february)

it's possible he might be a prof, and i don't think he has
