enjoy, i've never heard of this word!

fartlek (FART-lek) noun

A method of training, originally developed for runners, that
involves
intense activity interspersed with low effort. For example,
sprinting
and walking.

[From Swedish fart (speed) + lek play).]

Ew... that word is just too obviously gaseous to be
aesthetically pleasing. I hope somebody bans that word! I'm
just offended...

we'll have to get phob's or gonzola's OFFICIAL 'yea' or
'nay' dat, but appears so.

what i thought of when i thought of speed is what does the
police officer say to you when he pulls you over for a
SPEEDING ticket? =0)

I guess the Swedes can pull you over for ''farting'' over
there... sounds good, must be a fresh smelling road system.

in denmark the elevators all have buttons that say "i fart"
next to them. imagine being with strangers and having to
admit THAT!

my girlfriend (who studies english and french) told me about
a french word for the upper part of old windows in europe
(an additional wing on the top that cannot be opened or
something). i dunno how to write it in french but the thing
is if you pronounce it correctly in that language you say
'was-ist-das' what is actually german (you wouldnt know as a
french) and does mean "what is this".
