ok, ive been listening to alot of Future Sound Of London
lately

and i must say, they are fucking geniuses.

Seriously, their music is so great. AND its so diverse.
Theyve done techno, ambient, experimental, psych rock
hybird, and its all done SO WELL.

They have such a keen sense for atmosphere.

I LOVE em.

What you call them? Somehow I dont see the term "IDM"
fitting for them. But neither is techno.

Electronica? its so broad.

and i know its not about names etc, im just curious

as you said yourself, they're diverse so it seems rather
pointles trying to pigeonhole their music

my favourite fsol (bar some strange papua new guinea
remixes) is definately the cascade single parts 1-7

if you aint got it you really need to

I just picked up a copy of Dead Cities. Never heard it, just
going by reputation.

So far I like it. It's playful. Reminds me a bit of Add N to
X on the tracks Dead Cities and We Have Explosive.
