me too, that site was indispensable for me. it had every
obscure song ever. soulseek has shit in comparison.

AG represented a TRUE "happy" felling inside of me, with all
the unrequested GOOD songs and the variety of messageboards
(now that feelling is gone)

I wasn't in the Napster era, but I enjoyed AG as much I can.
I've heard Napster was superior to AG, I don't have anything
against to Napster is just I don't believe this last

:)

PEACE

Yep, you could get anything you wanted on there, it NEVER
failed. Obscure central...

I also miss Napster, severe nostalgia. I won't uninstall it,
in the futile hope that it will one day rise from the ashes.

But Soulseek does the job. I only use Kazaa when Soulseek
chokes!

oh, it did fail sometimes... rarely, but sometimes... i
remember two 12 rounds tracks i couldn't find on AG because
it was always offline. finally found them on ftp though. :)

file sharing is good if ure not sure about an album but
otherwise y dont u guys try buyin cds. otherwise i will hunt
u down with a pneumatic arse raper.

idm artists need more recognition and sales.

that sed-cds r severely overpriced-

my heads going 2 sneeze

audiogalaxy was the greatest.

napster wasnt really all that good now that i think about
it.. i mean, we have soulseek and dc++ now, which are
considerably better programs - cos they both have the option
to download full albums, a feature which napster lacked..
sorta

Like Tits said, Audiogalaxy was damn comprehensive. I didn't
like the interface, the satellite+web browser shit, but God
damn it was a GOLD MINE of hard to find music. I think I'm
going to cry...

At the moment there's nothing that has been able to beat AG.
Napster maybe...... I hope there will be something similar
to AG in the future
