i now have a system folder which shows up in the "my
computer" folder with all the drives, the control panel,
printers, dial-up networking etc, only this 'system foler'
has no name, and if you right-click on it you get cut,
create shortcut or delete which none of them can be done.
i think this seems to have replaced another file which was
there before which was called 'rights wallet', whatever that
was. any ideas anyone?

OK, so i've restored my registry and i now have the file
back as RightsWallet only it still says system folder. the
weird thing is the icon isn't a folder icon, its a standard
'unknown file type' icon, i.e. one of those windows pictures

I have folders that appear in random folders. They all are
named CWMC000001.tmp. The number is always a bunch of zeros
with a different ending number. And they show up in the
oddest of places. Any ideas where they're coming from?

i think you just hit the nail on the head titsworth, it
definately has something to do with that (i have a vague
memory of that). err, i think i still have it installed
somewhere. its a rubbish program aswell.

yea, it is a rubbish program and the sucky part is it never
fully goes away - you're fucked for life (well, till you
reformat). the sucky part is after you uninstall the daft
punk stuff you can't even reinstall it.

Simply do a triple right click on the system folder to
access the prompt that will allow you to name it. Name this
folder "my computer". Now use the "search files" tool in
your computer and search for "my computer". It should find
the regular "my computer" folder, but it will also find the
new "my computer" folder you just created. This will create
a nexus in drive C between these two files, but it's
important to export this nexus to drive D. To do this, just
create a short cut for the original system folder file, but
define it's parameters as fluctuating (if you choose
constant you'll have to start over so be careful here.) If
you do this correctly (then obviously split the rights
wallet file into two seperate files, having one read "rights
wallet" after the third zero in the 4th line, while the
other is left unchanged.... but I figured you'd know how to
do this part) it should work. I don't know why it's giving
you so much trouble, it's seems pretty simple.

computers, I'm the man, i can fix anything techno, i got the
answers, go me....... only to find they couldn't read past
the first sentence without wanting to curl up in a ball and
cry.

i did, and i feel badly about the whole situation.

ok kiddies here I am the expert ready for all your experting
needs......

What you are going to neep is a boom stick, grease, bananas,
womens underpants, scotch, and a cadilac. Allright here we
go....... get your mom and tell her theres a fire on the
roof!!!!.... while she is panicing and running all about....
start shooting all the windows in the house with your boom
stick.... take off all your clothes and put the underpants
on!!! ....... allright... here is where it gets a little
tricky.. tell your mom to run out and get the cadilac in
front of the house..... and that the fire is spreading to
the kitchen!!!...while she runs for the car..... your going
to grease yourself up REAL good..... grab the bananas and
throw them at the neighbors window and yell something like
"Watch ME.. I am part of the crabmen army, FEAR
ME!!!!!".....throw the scotch bottle over your left
shoulder.... count to ten... and light a match on
yourself..... and run to the caddy

and there you have it!

people say I am good at experting and that I am a
godsent..... but then I just tell them.....Its ok lady.... I
am just doing my job.....

Mickey, you should get "Steamboat Willie" and animate your
avatar. That would be cool.
