i seen some on winamp.com but they were nothing special,
sorry to say. i just figured if someone was into RDJ enough
and had the ability to make a winamp for him they would have
done something really cool...

if anyone out there can make one i have a good idea! use
the skin form the artwork on RDJ album to make a winamp
skin! get it? i think that would be the coolest skin ever!
even for those who don't even know about RDJ, just the fact
that some one made a skin outta skin is reason enough to do
it!

Oh God, the Aphex skins all suck. Most skins that show
pictures and images of people or shit tend to BE shit.
Unusable, cluttered and ugly.

I think I saw an Autechre skin at Winamp.com, too... sucked.

There's some fabulous porn skins hanging around the sites
out there. But the FatboyAmp I've got is awesome. Real easy
for a dumbass like me. Heheh.

Is Winamp 3 as bad as they say it is? I hear it's got ''free
skinning'' or something... not as restrictive. But
apparently the thing sucks overall...

Wow, thanks, now THAT'S a great skin. I'll keep that one
around.

I'd rather the colors match the album art... not the cutesy
blue and red. But I love it anyway.

I just got Winamp3 not to long ago...Its been crashing on me
constantly. I tried to give it a chance but after having it
crash five times in less than one hour I'm going back to the
old version.

As soon as the bugs are gone I'll be happy to get it. The
crossover effect is good along with the new features such as
having the menus opaque, allowing the search to be part of
the embedded menu instead of a popup window and a couple
other things. I have yet to play with it cause I'm
converting back to 2.80

echh, winamp 3 sucks. it needs major refinements. crashes
all the time, slow as shit, i still use 2.8.
and yeah, all afx skins suck. i have one approaching being
decent with a picture from quoth on it, but its to
cluttered.

I dont use winamp anymore cause i'm on the mac now, but it
worked pretty well while it was in use.

I'd just like to say that making a skin is one of the most
mind-numbing processes on the planet. I made two and i was
very disatissfied w/ both. The only ones that seem to look
good are those modeled after stereo equipment or
electronics...etc.

If you're looking for some cool sleek skins that are just
frickin' gorgeous, try these ones. Search for them at
Winamp.com, I'm sure they must have a search feature,
right?

Stoneamp

spy_amp_blue
glacial_age
doxital
ekoamp
connect-x_updated

I mostly use the above ones... but there's a few more
gimmicky skins that are REALLY good... most suck, but I love
these ones... detailed and loud but very usable...
