Bill Hicks was the greatest comedian who ever lived. People
like Sienfeld and Leary are just watered-down versions of
him.

Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmonson (sp?) did some great stand-up
in the early 80's. And depsite some dire comedy, The Young

mitch hedberg is the best young comic i've seen in ages upon
ages. stoner logic with a stoner delivery.

"the most frustrating part of tennis is that no matter how
good ou get, you'll never be as good as a wall. i should
know. i played one last week. the fucker was relentless."

"sometimes when i'm on acid i see all these beams of light
and sounds that sound not unlike car horns."

"i don't have a girlfriend, man. but i do know one person
who would disagree with that statement."

lewis black is good too. in regards to pumpkin pie and
squash from which it came, "how can something that smells so
shitty, taste so sweet. there can't possibly be enough
sugar in the universe for that."
