I used to be a SP-fan, but Mellon Collie was the last album
I bought. Very good, indeed. But the machina shit? :P

Yep, it's the album of the moment for me... first album I
ever bought, actually. BIG TIME nostalgia listening to it.

I LOVE thier guitar tone, it's so smooth and so heavy...

I actually don't like the softer stuff on that album,
because of Corgan's voice... it's very grating, not my
thing.

Ode To No One" rooooock

Just heard Gish for the first time the other day... not too
impressed. It's OK, but not very ambitious or anything...
when Corgan got his ego inflated, THAT'S what I liked. The
big bald drama queen!

this was one of my favorite albums when i was 13-16, i
haven't listened to it in a couple years but i've been
meaning to. i'm really into that guitar tone (a lot like my
bloody valentine and even mogwai who i listen to all the
time now) and the double album is packed with great songs.

Listening to Mellon Collie gives me an eerie sense of deja
vu - it's one of those albums that quietly disappears for a
few years and shows up without warning now and again.
Beautiful piece of work, really. When it first came out my
parents thought it was filth and said it couldn't come in
the house, which is really funny now.

a great album...I dont go by what Billy Corgan says and
thinks but his music and this album is great.

with me. I really enjoy this album too. I think I have to

"Disarm" really destroyed their credibility for me, not as
bad as Jagger/Bowie "Dancing In The Street" but pretty bad.

I never tuned in again, for good or for worse.

ever bought when i was 13. mellon collie followed soon
after. i had the t-shirt and everything. definitly my all
time favorite rock band, the live show in south africa was
to die for (their last show ever besides the ones they
played in chicago). all i wanted from that show was
silverfuck, i suppose you can't have everything. just put
mellon collie on, fuckin awesome. nostalgia here i come.

I've had an mp3 CD with Pumpkins music. But it has crashed,
so now I don't have any Pumpkins music except for tapes far
away at my parents'. Once when I wanted to listen to the
song called 'Eye' I started making it myself, hahaha. But I
got lazy when only halfway through the process.
Now i have first several seconds of it:)))
