Do you think that the age of a person makes a difference in
quality of threads/posts on this message board. And would
you take a thread/post any less seriously if you found out
it was someone younger then you, or someone exceptionally
young? I mean obviously there are typical "children" that
will spam and lash out to some degree... for whatever
reasons they may have. But personally I really dont think it
would make any difference at all, if the thread/post shows
valid intellegence in regard to the topic. What do you all
think about this? And what is your ASL (age, sex, location)?

25, male, Chicago.

No, it doesn't matter to me in most cases. In my years
online some of the brightest people i've known have been
under the age of 16. Also i've known some real dolts over
the age of 30.

I don't have a bias against a certain age or gender, just
whether or not the person is a moron.

I automatically assume that everyone here who has a post
count above 2000 is older than me, for some reason.

Age doesn't really matter, not here... I just assume
everyone here is... erm... smarter than the average
schmuck... I remember when I was 14, I was pretty much the
same as I was now. And it's not like I had any big
epiphanies since then... life is boring. Nothing ever
happens to any of us, we overrate our experiences. I haven't
learned anything new since junior high, life is still the
same old shit. So I can listen to 14 year olds and take them
as seriously as 40 year olds... somewhat.

Of course they can have minor little brain hiccups, some
things they have yet to learn... but nothing very important.

Now, under 14... for some reason 13 seems a lot younger than
14. If you're under 14, I probably look down on you as too
raw to really know much... :-/

I like to think of little children posting on this
messageboard funny to listen to... and I will read what they
have to say... if a 40 year old comes on this here
messageboard and says "aphex is for dummies, i love my
collection of Foghat & Journey!" i would most take a kids
word rather than some fucktwat oldy...

I (i) (eye)... STILL consider myself a "kid" nonetheless! i
never want to grow up... maybe that's why so many ppl hate
me on this here board :(

ho humm :(

Haha, you dummy, you're just fishing for compliments! Yeah
right, nobody hates you, you... special... person... how do
I love thee? Let me count the ways.

Now everyone is going to profess how much they love you, and
that's exactly what you wanted, right? ;-)

What's wrong Smyrma? Don't you like living here in this
wonderful babseball town...that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO
IN IT?! Good luck in Beloit dear, and next time someone
moves from here, take me with you!

And Quoth you already know I don't hate you.

(There, see yall, I didn't satisfy his complement fishing,
yet I still let him know he wasn't hated. Tune in next time
for "How to get someone to pay for your stuff when you're
broke.")
