movie ever made.

world. not remotely funny. not even a fuckin giglgle.

the part were Jean-Luc Picard says:

"and he became.. {long dramatic pause}...MAGNETO!"

man, I laughed my ass off.

and when the girl has run away and dr.X uses the Cerebro
(whatever) room to find out where the girl went. it takes
him an hour to think up she went to the trainstation.

fukking hilarious.

she was, ofcourse, gone by then..

anyways, be very glad that you didn't see "evolution" - its
like ghostbusters (which I love) but with all the comedy
surgically removed.

What kind of internal workings does your brain have to go
through to make you say "Okay guys, I have this idea for a
movie..." and have the end result be The Master of
Disguise?

Really, what was Dana thinking, besides "hey, I need money"?

yes if he didnt use the Cerebro thing it would have defeated
the purpose of spending hundreds of thousands spent on the
production design of the set too..

Yeah, Corky Romano was about as unfunny as a comedy can be.

Even little kids don't laugh at this movie. It's getting
fucking CAUSTIC reviews. Possibly the worst movie I've ever
seen, and I haven't even seen it. I just feel the pain just
from watching the commercials.

Not even a child would be dumb enough to laugh at such a bad
movie..... maybe if you were 4

Date: 27 July 2002
Summary: Master Of Disguise...more than meets the eye.

Sheer genius cannot even begin to properly address this
cinematic achievement, to call it any less is an insult.
Dana Carvey, on the surface, plays a bumbling Italian waiter
who inherits the power of disguise; however, if you dig a
bit deeper & peel away the layers, you'll find a motion
picture which is a scathing, yet biting social political
statement on society as a whole. One cannot begin to
hopefully comprehend or decipher all the psychological &
stereotypical boundaries this film breaks. It is a surprise
to find this film in mainstream theaters as a film on this
level & caliber would normally only be found in the finest
arthouse theaters. If you plan on seeing Master of Disguise,
I suggest keeping your afternoon free, as after viewing, no
after witnessing it, you'll need the rest of the afternoon
to invest in deciphering the dense narrative. Admittingly
some of the jokes were over my head, but all truly great
comedies take a bit of effort for comprehension. Only for
serious film viewers & students of the artform as a whole
