(AFX-Analogue BubbleBath 3- track 11) what can I say, for
me, this track is an absolute winner, I had it on repeat for
roughly 4 hours today whilst sketching and would love to
find some more stuff coming from a similar angle, no beats ,
just dark atmosphere , . Can anyone out there make some
suggestions as what to look out for?

Maybe stating the obvious, but SAW2?

thanks for the tip but I think I have most of richards stuff
(released that is) covered (SAW2 is fucking golden I would
get very anxious over the thought of a possible SAW3),back
to the point I wanted to find some new artists just doing
dark ambient soundscapes and thought the AFX/MB would be the
best place to ask

I think Current 93, Coil and Nurse With Wound have released
some darker ambient music, but it has been quite a long time
since I listened so I don't know any titles. Maybe someone
else can help.

cheers, Inverted, at least I have something else to chase, I
haven't heard of them so it'll all be new to me :)

The old Robert Leiner stuff is quite good, try Visions Of
The Past.

try these :

http://www.zhark.org (not only ambient, but look for 'druids
by kareem')

Pan American '360 buisness/360 bypass' (not very dark but
pleasant)

Pole (the 3 albums), Vladislav Delay 'entain'...Dead can
dance....

I can't remeber some darker ones, exept " narcosis - a dark
ambient compilation" (novatekk/media7 distribution - no
website related)

if you don't want beats and very dark ambience, there you
are...

there are artists like 'coil, arcana, shinjuku thief, pwog,
raison d'etre...)

i remember listening to that album at REALLY high volumes
