i have to say, it is a real thrill to look through your email inbox and find emails from musicians you admire. i've conversed through email with stuart braithwaite (mogwai frontman), slicker/john hughes, lfo/mark bell, cex, vim!, mu-ziq, and kim coletta (ex-jawbox bassist). most of these people have email addresses linked on their web sites. the moral of the story is to visit the web sites of artists you want to talk to and email them! everyone i mentioned was friendly except vim!, he was a little grumpy, and cex, who is often arrogant and defensive in his emails. |
