NM, i had tons of problems in the past...but this time it
seemed to work perfectly without any snags.

You should be able to set it up in your preference folder.

I need some help in Image ready...

Ok, I've got an animated musical note, and a non animated
pic of saturn that I want to incorporate the moving note
over.. In image ready, I duplicated the saturn to 8 frames
because the animation is exactly 8 frames long. For some
reason though, when I copy frame 1 of the animation over
into frame 1 of saturn, it copies it onto all 8 frames.. I
need it to only copy it to the one I currently have
selected.. What am I doing wrong?

omfg, I just had a whole schpiel typed out and it
disappeared..

okay, in as few words as possible, basically the frames from
the old animation that I'm individually going to put into
the new one get overwritten every time I copy and paste...
every time it puts the one I'm pasting into ALL 8 frames, so
I can't really make an animation since all the frames are
the same.

i'm not sure why, but changes made in the first frame affect
all the other frames as well.

So use the first frame as a start frame and make changes in
the following frames.

Never really bothered figuring out if you could change it.

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do though.

can you import an image ready animated gif into flash and
maintain the animation in flash frames?

OK, you need to make certain layers invisible I think

With the little eye logo next to the layer in the little
layer window.

So each frame only shows one of the animated layers.

Is this what you mean?

I got so confused I just gave up.. the end result wasn't
worth all the effort I was putting in to it, since it was an
unnecessary addition to an assignment I already had
completed. Fuck it, says I.
