Read "Y the last man" on DC Vertigo.

It is the best comic I have read in 5 years and I read a lot
of comics!!

That's good too. The movie is a commercial for the books --
but a good commercial.

vertigo stuff is cool but now all the vertigo creators have
moved over to marvel and doing some great twisted superhero
stuff....

but the comic that's got a hold of me right now is Jimmy
Corrigan-The Smartest Kid on Earth...amazing design
ethic..beautiful simple illustration..complex dream state
story telling

Vertigo got really tired. I only read Hellblazer, Hunter and
now Y The Last Man.

Other comics I like: Sandman, The Maxx, Preacher, Zero Girl,
Mr. Punch (amazing art), Four Women, those old EC comics
like Weird Science and stuff.

Two of my friends have told me about Y the last man, and
that they liked it very much. I would like to read it.

I love all the comics you mentioned (Sam Keith rocks..I even
have the Maxx on video) except 4 women which I havent come
acoss..old EC stuff..rocks...I havent had a chance to look
at Y the last man yets..but I am mopping up everything I can
find by Brian Azaarelo..100 Bullets..his Hellblazer run
especially Hard Times with Richard Corben..higly
recommended...as well as Lucifer...the first worthy
successor out of all the Sandman spinoffs...

Yeah, Sam Kieth does rock. Great artist and storyteller.
I've got that Maxx video too, which is very cool. I wish
that they would put it to dvd so i wouldn't have to worry
about my vcr eating it someday.

Those EC comics are great. The art is so classy and slick.

I saw a promo poster for Lucifer in the shop the other day.
I haven't had a chance to check it out.
