should there be a tax on fatty foods? in some countries there are or may soon be taxes imposed on snack products in hopes of improving the health of the general populus.
i know it seems a bit fascist but i think it's a good idea. some people are just addicted to food, like drugs or alcohol. they can't stop themselves. i think hiking up prices of fatty foods (and think how cheap candy bars and fast food items are) would force them to treat their bodies better which would of course be the best for them (unless they realize they're slowly killing themselves and are happy about that) AND it will cut down on federal, state, and local expenses because people will be in better shape and won't need as much medical attention or special accomidation in public transportation or places.

Yeah.
Hey, let's propose a tax on hair! Every inch is a 10% hike. These goddamn hippies will finally start cleaning up their act, and the government will have some more money in its pocket to kill innocent children in Afghanistan! Good fucking idea.
Is it true that you hate elbows?

Some people can eat junk food and stay healthy through exercise. Maybe obesity should be put in the same category as smoking for insurance purposes and so forth.
I don't think that tax idea is sound.

well a CERTAIN airline (actually all the major carriers) i know charges for an EXTRA seat for peeps that don't fit into ONE seat. i have mixed feelings, although when i see someone lifting the seat dividers etc to make room for there extra baggage....and crowding the poor soul next to them, i tell them to please put it back down. some people need 2 or 3 seat belt extensions!!!
btw....did you hear of that lawsuit last week....the guy is sueing MCd's etc cos they sold him fast food which has RUINED his health.....ONLY in AMERICA folks =0)
*TAX candy bars so i'll stay away from them* =0)

I think they should tax people for being fat. If fat people can afford to eat all kinds of food then they should pay a certain amount of money (depending on how fat they are), and that money should go to starving kids in africa.
Either that or tax junk food. I'm in favor of it.
