I just heard the new track "Hands around my Throat" from Death in Vegas' new album "Scorpion Rising". Incredibly they've used Liam Gallagher's voice, but messed about with it so it sounds good. This is a great tune and is Radio one (uk)'s breakfast show tune of the week. If this is anything to go by the new album should be even better than the previous 2... |

What kind of music is Death in Vegas? I regret to say I haven't heard of them until now. Liam Gallagher's voice messed up does sound interesting tho, got any links to where I could hear it? |

Their first album was quite dubby but the last was more of a rock album. I've seen them live a couple of times and they were great. Did you see them at the Cardiff Festival in '95 Ceri? |

Nope, sadly not :( Their website: www.continorooms.com is good, but don't go there if you're at work. Some of the pages contain "rude" pictures which I accidentally opened in my office :( You don't expect URLs given out at 8.00am to contain such shocking material... |

Erm, It's distorted guitars and electronic things. Quite like you'd imagine rdj would make rock music (not as "mad" as CTD tho :) ) |

i've got the first single from the album - the leather girls/natja ep. leather girls fucking rocks. sounds a bit like neu! im not so keen on the natja mixes though. i prefer when they use real instruments. |

They STILL haven't played it any time I've been listening to the radio :( My mistake the album is called SCORPIO rising and it's featuring Nicola Kuperus from Detroit techno outfit Adult singing on hands around my throat. Liam sings on another song on the album. I'm gonna have to get the leather girls ep... do you know if it's available on cd? |
