i am about to finish FF tactics any suggestions for the ps2? i like rpgs but not war games like medal of honor and the sort |

well,for starters,i recommend rez the intense techno shooter that everyone who has played it loves....sorta like starfox taken a couple levels ahead aftr that,id recommend the PS game Final Fantasy Chronicles...some of the best rpgs on that game and then Devil May Cry,its a shooter based on the Resident Evil type deals..but with just as many puzzles... |

pirotess....do you know that there are games only made for PS2 that is one, second my friend uses the pc for his games there are tons of PC games that suck and the RPG ones didnt interest me althought i was thinking about getting alice in wonderland..it looked trippy and weird..i also heared that the company is making OZ also |

I know many games are made purely for the PS2, so are many games only for PC. There are thousands of great pc games available and there are lots of shite ones. There are a hundred or so great PS2 games (Devil May Cry for instace!) but there are also a lot of crappy ones!! Personally, I prefer PC for a wider choice and greater selection!!! |

Well i'd be pretty dumb if I didn't know that, my point is that most games on the PS2 are ported from the PC and are far better on the PC, there is also a wider range of games on there, and the games are far better quality, there are only a couple of sgand out games for the PS2 that you can't get for the PC. Oh, Alice in Wonderland ain't that good. |

metal gear solid 2 sucks on ps2. 1 was just better and you can't play 2 with only snake, you have to play someone else!! so i think i'm sticking to mgs1 |

They are good games.... Kingdom under fire is another good RTS game....with RPG elements thrown in for good measure. Just make sure you get the new GOLD edition! |

ohhh, FF Tactics! A personal fav of mine! did you enjoy it? I love strategy RPGs like that one. If you are much into that style of RPG, get Vandal Hearts and Vandal Hearts 2, both TOP NOTCH fuggin games :) both are for PSX, btw (but would obviously work on PS2) |

raimons: yeah gta 3 was fun, untill i had done all the missions and i was getting sick of just ride and kill someone but its a great game anyway. flim-flam: in the netherlands we have windows xp dutch version and there gta 3 has no text in any menu! but there isnt a patch for it, so all my friends (i have windows 98) cant really play the game well! |

i read this at ps2world.com One of the biggest games at the moment for any console has to be Rockstar's "Grand Theft Auto 3". And like with most big games, there is often a follow-up to it. Well sources at Rockstar and DMX have said that they have already begun on the follow-up to GTA3 entitled "Grand Theft Auto Miami". The game is due out towards the end of 2002. As well as that, they are hard at work on making Grand Theft Auto 4, the proper sequel to GTA3. That is due out at some point next year. Details are very vague at the moment, but we will give you more information when we get it. |

not important but...but now i read on a nother cite that it will be called: gta: vice city.. exclusively for PlayStation 2 and is expected to hit retail shelves in the United States on October 22nd. |

flim: I have a Geforce2MX and I initially had the same problem (i have winXP) but I was able to get a fix for it from microsoft. if you have winxp you should check out microsoft's site. |

i loved FF tactics i played it after FFX and i enjoyed it more funny grafics are not important as game play i am thinking about getting FF anthology or chronicles i heared if you get ff chronicles , chrono cross wount play on ps2..but i have a psx |

thats awesome that you loved ff tactics, i actually think the graphics in that game are classic awesome! yeah FF anthology is cool but most of those games can be downloaded in ROM format for SNES emulators and such, dont know if I'd spend the money on it unless you want it as a collectors item. I have Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete for PSX, it was 70 bucks new when it came out, its got 4 discs (2 game, 1 soundtrack, 1 making of the game disc), a hardbound manual and a cloth map, and its already a collectors item, sells for like $95 used, even more sealed. Im gonna keep it for a while longer till its a fuckin artifact! :) |

I WOULD love FF tactics (being a HUGE ff fan) but it aint available in the UK apart from inport to a chipped machine! They pbviously deemed the RPG element isn't appreciated enough in the UK to release it here (like so many other flocking RPG games!!) |

Yes, I would like to say that I would play Bubble Bobble over Halo ANYDAY! princo & raimons: yep, its steve irwin! I fuckin LOVE this guy! hes the man! electro: yes, RPG's are my favorite genre of games :) about Lunar, the graphics in game are kinda old school, kinda like SNES, but that doesnt bother me one bit, cuz i love old school console RPGs. Its also got LOADS of Anime cutscenes tho, and they are like real anime too, its really entertaining. Its like half playing a game, half watching an anime cartoon! :) |
