ok, i have a ton of Autechre tracks waiting to be
downloaded on my kazaa list. i have 'Overand' downloaded,
and i must say i love the effects and there is just
something about it that makes me want to ask this:
does anybody know what hardware and/or software that
Autechre uses? I listened to it and i was thinking to myself
"This is something i have been trying to do," so if anybody
can help me i would be greatly obliged :)

I know that they have used MAX/MSP in the past. I don't
know if they still use it.

MAX/MSP hot link action

they're all pretty secretive about that sort of thing. you
could look at the interview with sound on sound magazine.
it's on the SOS website...i dunno the address. that should
be a bit gear orientated. i'll have to reread that myself.
